A wonderful Husband, Dad, and Papa, Harold Manuel (Manny) Jeffcoat Sr. (64) of Benton went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2014. He was born in Benton, Ark. on July 2, 1949. Known for his generous heart, Manuel's kind spirit touched the lives of many and he was considered a friend to all. He had a great personality and was fun-loving. He had a loud hearty laugh that was sure to lift your spirits. He was very loving and giving and was always willing to help someone out. Nothing was more important to him than his family, especially his grandchildren. Manuel proudly bragged on his family to anyone who would listen. His wife was the love of his life. An avid outdoorsman, Manuel loved nothing more than to spend all of his free time fishing, hunting, four wheeler riding, wood-working, and watching Razorback football. At the young age of 18, Manuel proudly signed up to serve his country and spent the next several years in the United States Navy and participated in tours to Vietnam. He loved the Lord and raised his children to have strong morals and faith in God. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Onie Jeffcoat and two sisters, Louise and Opal Jo and one brother, Bud. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Janie Jeffcoat, three children Amanda (Jeremiah) Byrd, Angela (Stephen) Wood, and Harold (Cindy) Jeffcoat Jr and seven granddaughters, Hailey, Hannah, Kyla, Kinley, Kelsey, Kambri, and Jovie. Services will be held at Dial and Dudley in Bryant, Ark. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12th and funeral services will be on Thursday, Februaury 13th at 2 p.m. Following the services, Manuel will be laid to rest at Hicks Cemetery (off Benton Parkway) in Benton, Ark.
