Robert M. (Bob) Ford, 80, of Wynne, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014, at CrossRidge Community Hospital in Wynne, Arkansas. Bob was born on November 18, 1933 in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Bob was a very successful and an active attorney in Wynne. Previously, Bob had served in the United States Army, had coached under countless SEC Collegiate football teams including coaching directly with Paul "Bear" Bryant at the University of Alabama. Bob additionally served as a scout for the Dallas Cowboys for 25years and worked closely with Coach Tom Landry. Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria R. Ford; three sons, Dr. Robert Ford, Jr. of Republic, Missouri; Paul Ford of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Dr. Barry Ford of Little Rock, Arkansas; two step-children, Carter Dooley of Wynne; and Kelly Stewart of Peculiar, Missouri; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Riley Boy Ford and Willie Irene Graves Ford; and one grandson, Riley Graves Ford. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church on Falls Boulevard in Wynne, with Dr. Rev. Glenn Pettus officiating the services.
