Lynn Mahle Ferguson

Mrs. Lynn Mahle Ferguson, age 96, of Forrest City, Arkansas died Sunday, February 16, 2014. Mrs. Ferguson was born July 19, 1917 in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Fred W. Mahle and Edna Holdridge Mahle. Mrs. Ferguson was a member of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church where she served on the Altar Guild and was a housewife. She attended the University of Arkansas and was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. Mrs. Ferguson was a member of the Garden Gate Garden Club, Jr. Auxiliary and the La Petite Bridge Club. She served as pledge mother for the DBS in 1969 and was a avid golfer at the Forrest City Country Club. Mrs. Ferguson married Joe E. Ferguson in 1942. He survives her along with a daughter Karen Ferguson Withrow and husband Richard. A grandson R. Justin Withrow of Searcy also survives her. Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Parish Hall of the Church.
