Jim attended college at the University of Central Arkansas where he received a degree in accounting. Jim worked at Arkansas Foundry Company (AFCO) in Little Rock for 21 years until his retirement in 1992. Jim's many passions were sports, especially Razorback sports, golfing and manicuring his lawn, He was a proud and loving father and husband who loved spending time with his family and many friends. Jim was a compassionate man who had an incredible zest for life. He touched many people with his multitude of songs, quotes and trademark sense of humor that lasted to the very end. Jim always ended most conversations and hand-shakes with the phrase "Take care, I care." Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Jim was survived by his beloved wife Montie; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jay McLelland; step-son, Richard Kniseley; step-daughter-in-law, Paulette Kniseley; two grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and a sister, Kathryn Light.
