Tessie Arcola Tipton

Tessie Arcola Tipton, age 84, of Stuttgart, died Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at her home surrounded by her children. She was born March 25, 1929 in Carlisle, Arkansas, to Arvil and Ruby King. Tessie was retired from Riceland Foods. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.B. Tipton; one sister, Elwanda Baxter and one brother, Eugene King. Tessie is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Donald) Persons of Pine Bluff and Marty (Robert) Tucek of Stuttgart; two sons, James "Jug" (Corman) Tipton of De Valls Bluff and Johnny (Karen) Tipton of Hazen; 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, February 27 at the Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Hazen. Burial will be in the Center Point Cemetery. Online obituary at www.westbrookfuneralhomehazen.com.
