Emma Lee Victory

Mrs. Emma Lee (Woodruff) Victory, 91, of Bradford, Arkansas, died Wednesday, February 26, 2014. She was born August 27, 1922, in Ballew's Chapel, the daughter of Johnny and Norta (Bennett) Woodruff. Mrs. Victory was a homemaker, and enjoyed gardening, flowers, and decorating her house. She was a member of the B&PW several years. Mrs. Victory was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she was very active and had taught Sunday school and choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Edward Victory Sr.; one daughter, Linda Houston; one brother, V.L. Woodruff; one sister, Patty Hubbard; and her parents. Mrs. Victory is survived by three sons, Ralph "Rusty" Victory, Jr., of Olyphant, Gary Victory and wife Debbie of Olyphant, and Johnny Victory of Newport; one brother, Johnny Woodruff Jr. of Natchez, Mississippi; eight grandchildren, Marcia Kent, Mindy Markham, Christy Gill, Ralph "Buddy" Victory III, Lisa Cash, Ashley Victory, Jennifer Victory, and Allison Grace Victory; and eight great-grandchildren. Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday, 6-8 p.m. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014 at Jackson's Newport Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
