Faybell Greer Mansker, age 81, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014. She was born December 19, 1932, in Plumerville, Arkansas, a daughter of the late William Harlan and Callie Greer. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Bill Mansker, as well as by two brothers, Harlan and Bill Greer; two sisters, Bonnie Sowell and Mary Betty Johnson and two half-brothers, Andrew and Raymond Sutton. She is survived by her three daughters, Carolyn Mansker of Morrilton, Shirley (David) Smith of Conway, and Rhonda (Gary) Sutton of Morrilton; four grandsons, Jeremy (Courtney) Smith of Lowell, Jonathan (Laura) Smith of Valdosta, Ga., Derek Cox of Conway and Cory Cox of Conway; one granddaughter, Jennifer (Paul) Holst of Conway; five great-grandchildren, Macy and Riley Smith, Carter and Kennedy Smith, and Madison Holst and one sister, Kay Tolar of Daisetta, Texas. During her lifetime Fay worked at a variety of jobs: a seamstress at Levi's, a grocery clerk at Wofford's Grocery, a cook at Northside Elementary Cafeteria, and retired after many years as a sales clerk at Blue Ribbon Shoe Store. She was a loving wife and proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a strong woman of faith and a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Morrilton. Fay loved cooking for and spending time with her family. She was always busy, whether it was working in the yard, sewing or traveling with her husband, family or friends. She was a very caring individual who enjoyed doing things for others. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 27th at Harris Funeral Home Chapel in Morrilton with Bro. Sonny Harvison officiating. Pallbearers will be Fay's sons-in-law and grandsons. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the nurses and staff in the observation unit at Salem Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Conway.
