Joel Foster Pilkington

Joel Foster Pilkington, 77, retired funeral director and embalmer, passed away Tuesday. He was a 32 degree Mason and a Methodist. Preceded in death by parents, Foster Melvyn Pilkington and Kathryn Pilkington Turney, and son, Sandy Pilkington. Survivors: daughter, Kathy Stormont; siblings, Jerry Pilkington, Keith Pilkington, Betty Cothren, and June Ellen Marshall; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Visitation Sunday, Olmstead Chapel, 1 p.m. with service beginning 2 p.m. Interment Heber Springs Cemetery. www.olmstead.cc.
