Patsy Barger Thorp

Patsy Barger Thorp, 86, departed this life on January 1, 2014. She was born on April 11, 1927 in Prescott, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents Hearl Stanley Barger and Nannie Belle Loomis Barger. She was also preceded by six brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Willard J. Thorp; daughter, Kaye Thorp Bounds; son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Wanda Thorp; grandsons, Brian, Omar and Jerome; and great granddaughters, Rani and Logan. Patsy was a founding member of St. Mark Methodists Church of Camden, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mark Methodists Church at 1315 W. Washington St., Camden, Arkansas 71701 or to Easter Seals at P.O. Box 707, Little Rock, Ark 72203. A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
