Glenda Faye Smith

Glenda Faye Smith, 79, of Judsonia, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 2, 2014. She was a member of the Vilonia Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, yard sales and spending time with her grandchildren and family who will remember her love and passion for others. Glenda is survived by one daughter, Regina Smith; two sons, Jimmy G. Smith, Jr. (Alisa) and Fletcher (Kelly) Smith; eight grandchildren, Robert (Danielle) Kerr, Dina (Gary) Forman, Crisanta (Terry) Tidwell, Carmela (Charlie) Alvarez, Carlos Pantoja, Jimmy G. Smith, III (Juliette) Nick Smith, Lane Smith (Jinney); seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dean Tarpley; her Tarpley extended family; nieces and nephews and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Jimmy G. Smith Sr.; one son, Robert Grey; her parents, Orla and Flossie Tarpley; her brothers Gilbert Tarpley and Don Tarpley; and her dear sister-in-law, Nell Summers. Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Grissard Cemetery, El Paso.
