"A Better Place" There's a place I've never seen beyond this world we know, A place I've only heard of but someday hope to go, It's not on any map there are no roads to take me there, but it's a place of perfect peace where hearts are free from care and though I understand some may be saddened when I leave, one day we all will meet again, that's what I believe. Felecia Noggle Standridge Cavender born February 22, 1935 to the late Rev. A.A. "Dolph" and Nora Branan Noggle at Damascus, Ark. Besides her parents, preceding her in death, one brother Cletus Noggle, one son Ron Standridge. Survived by: Husband of 43 years Bill Cavender, three sons, Rick (Ivy) Standridge of Rio Rancho, N.M.; Randy (Debbie) Standridge of Munderlein, Ill. & Stuart Cavender of El Paso, Ark. Eight grandchildren: Ryan, Kyle, Emily, Reece & Ethan Standridge, Baylie & Callie Cavender, and Summer (Frank) Wysong. Six great-grandchildren, cousins, friends including Scotland High School Graduating Class of 1952, "OverCup Gang", Quartet Families, Her church family and the wonderful people met through the journey of her life that became her friends. She was a member of Stoney Point Methodist Church and worked in the insurance industry for 20 years. She was a pianist for various churches and a pianist for Big Ridge Quartet in Missouri. After moving to Arkansas she was a pianist and keyboard player for the Gospel Tones Quartet over 20 years. She recorded 2 LP's and 2 CD's with this group. She has asked that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Stoney Point Methodist Church or the Gideon International P.O. Box 10750, Searcy, Ark. 72149. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 9, 5-7 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Chapel, 7724 Landers Rd., N. Little Rock, Ark. with memorial services on Friday, Jan. 10, 1 p.m. at the chapel with burial to follow at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park.
