Norma Alene Lay Daughtry-Russel

Norma Alene Lay Daughtry-Russell, age 93, of Hensley, Arkansas, formerly of Vicksburg, Mississippi, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, January 5, 2014. She is survived by her son, Pat Daughtry (Janie) of Vicksburg, Miss. Their children, Rick Daughtry and daughter, Brianna and (special friend, Jo Lee Ming) of Vicksburg, Miss. Renee Daughtry Barfoot (Tony) and daughter, Hayley of Brookhaven, Miss. Rhonda Daughtry Rowland (Don) and children, Hunter and Tori of Vicksburg, Miss. She is also survived by her daughter, Mary Bonnie Daughtry of Hensley, Ark. Her children, Chaz Dillon (Jennifer) and children, Audra, Brooke, Charlsey, Lauren Drew, Evan of Greenbrier, Ark. Mary Alene Dillon Rutledge (James) of Montgomery, Texas. Melissa Ann Jenkins Tanksley (Gary) and children, Aaron, Andrew, and Alivia of Monticello, Miss. Also foster children, Ray Kelly of Vicksburg, Miss., Evelyn DuBose Stricklin of Jackson, Miss., Jo Anne DuBose Claunch of Burleson, Texas, and Mikel DuBose of Addison, Texas. The family will receive friends at Cox Funeral Home, Oak Grove, La., Friday, January 10, 2014 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Her funeral will be Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 12 noon in the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Blue of Hensley, Ark. officiating. Interment will be in the Kilbourne Cemetery, Kilbourne, La. Pallbearers will be Rick Daughtry, Chaz Dillon, Chandler Rowland, Hunter Rowland, Aaron Tanksley, Andrew Tanksley and Evan Dillon. A Memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Word Covenant Fellowship, 306 E. Woodson Lateral road, Hensley, Ark. 72065. All are Welcome to come celebrate Norma's life.
