Pearl Spann Crook

Pearl Spann Crook, age 96, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away January 7, 2014. She was born March 8, 1917 to Uriah Rick and Mattie Carolyn Spann. he retired from Kellwood (Ottenheimer) and was a member of Henderson United Methodist Church. Her greatest joy was having all of her family each Sunday for lunch. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Horace Jackson Crook; daughter, Ruby Davenport; her parents; seven brothers; one sister and one great-great granddaughter. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Ruthie (Jimmy) Hughes, grandchildren, Ricky (Karen) Hughes; Gary (Maurice) Hughes; Christi (Mike) Lytle; Geri Dozier; ten great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandson; 15 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Myrtis Redd-Williams; and a very special friend, Keith Tackett. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, January 10, 2014 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211 (501) 224-8300 with Reverend Tom Frase officiating. Great grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
