John Ellis "Bo" Harris Jr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 25, 1953 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the son of John Ellis Harris Sr. And Annita Morrison Harris. For 39 faithful years, he was a devoted employee for Entergy as a lineman and a supervisor. He was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan and the Harris Boys Tree Farm Hunting Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, setting around the campfire with his family and friends, walking in the woods and just being outdoors. He loved his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews as if they were his own. Also, he adored his parents and was so thankful for all the love and care they gave him all his life. Bo was carried away by the angels to heaven on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock at the age of 60. Survivors: loving and devoted wife, Sherry Lawson Harris of Sheridan; son, Michael Harris and wife Brittanie of Grapevine; parents, John E. Harris, Sr. And Annita Harris of Sheridan; brother, Roger Harris and wife Melissa of Sheridan; sisters, Nita Gilbert and husband Carl of Prattsville; Gail Lackey and husband Eddie of Pine Bluff; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Mote and husband Ross of Sheridan; Vickie Easley and husband Jimmy Easley of Sheridan; mother-in-law, Jodie Pauline Lawson of Sheridan; three grandchildren, Tanner Harris, Gunnar Osborn and Ethan Osborn; two nieces, Anna Easley and Christian Mote; nine nephews, Jeremy Gilbert and wife Emily, Richard Morris, Joel Morris and wife Amee, Nick Mote, Colt Easley, Ryan Harris, Lawson Easley, Adam Mote and Rhett Harris; great-nephew, Isaiah Morris and a host of friends and extended family members. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan with Bro. Shawn Hill, Bro. Jimmy Easley and Mike Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Hardin Cemetery at Hardin, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the church. Pallbearers will be Larry Bruce, Joe Bush, John Humphries, Larry Glover, Perry Moore, Wayne Gilbert, Bill Lancaster and Tom Allen. Honorary pallbearer will be Bill Broyles.
