Kathleen Lee McGhee

Kathleen Lee McGhee, 84, of Dermott, Arkansas died January 8, 2014 at Dermott City Nursing Home in Dermott, Arkansas. Kathleen was born in Perry County, Arkansas on September 22, 1929 to the late William Calvin and Agnes Rice McGhee. Kathleen graduated from McGehee High School in 1948. She worked at Morgan & Lindsey 5 & Dime Store for many years. She also worked at West Brothers and Drug Mart Pharmacy. Kathleen was the caretaker for her parents, brother, and her sister. She was a member of Chickasaw Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Franklin "Frank" McGhee, Jesse Arlen "Jack" McGhee; sisters, Violet Noley Baughman, Helen Marie McGhee, and Sherry Joyce McGhee. Survivors include her nephews, nieces, and cousins. Memorial service will be Friday, January 10, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel in McGehee, Arkansas.
