Yolanda Johnson Upshaw

Yolanda Johnson Upshaw was born January 14, 1964 and departed this life January 13, 2014. She was the daughter of M.C. and the late Lee Esther Branch Johnson of Pine Bluff, Ark. Yolanda grew up in Pine Bluff, Ark. She received her early education in the Dollarway School District. She received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and later received a Masters Degree from Howard University. She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Robert Upshaw; children, (Robert-Paul Upshaw, Jhordan Upshaw, Alexia Upshaw and Faith Upshaw; father M. C. Johnson, Pine Bluff, Ark.; sister, Angela (Michael) Romano, NLR, Ark.; brother, Kevin (Yolanda) Johnson, Pine Bluff, Ark., grandmother, Grace Branch, Watson, Ark., numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Home going celebration will be Friday, January 17, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 501 N. Shackleford Road, Little Rock, Ark. Family Hour will be Thursday, January 16, 2014, 6 p.m – 8 p.m. at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. (501) 224-8300.
