Helen Margaret McGillvary Middleton, better know as "Pete", went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2014 with her family around her. Ms. Pete was born to L.C. "Buck" and Rosa Lee Eagle McGillvary on October 26, 1928 in Lonoke, Arkansas. She was a longtime member of Temple Baptist Church of Bald Knob. She spent countless hours volunteering in her community. She was a master baker and cake decorator and she was an avid prayer warrior and servant to all she came in contact with. She was also a member of the White County Extension service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by everyone of them. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, G.T. Middleton; her grandson, Tony Quinn, Jr.; sisters, Betty Rose Glascock and Virginia LaRue; son-in-law, Hal Parazine and daughter-in-law, Karen Middleton. Ms. Pete is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Middleton, Debra Sue Middleton, Carla Parazine and Edna Watson (Jim); two sons, Troy Middleton and Charles Middleton (Ann); 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation was held Wednesday at Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob. Services will be conducted, Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Temple Baptist Church in Bald Knob. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
