Billie (Narwanda) Moss Roberson, 80 of Hot Springs Village died January 3, 2014 at Village Springs Health and Rehab Center. She was born in Washington D.C. on June 9, 1933 to William and Wanda Fiscus. She married Howard Reich in 1954 after he was discharged from the U.S. Navy, and then moved to California. They have two sons, Scott and Todd Reich, both of California. She has three grandchildren, James, Jacob, and Nikki Reich. She married again in 1976 to Robert Roberson, who preceded her in death in 2010. She was an avid bridge card player for over 50 years, starting with the Walnut Creek Bridge Club in California and finishing up at the Village Card Club in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. She was a Gold Life Master and ended up with total bridge points of 4,147 point 2.8. As of November 2013 she ranked 9th in the club of 646 membership. She taught bridge lessons on cruise ships, taking her to places like Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, South America and Africa. She was active in the realty business in the Los Angeles area. She spent years teaching spring board diving to elementary school children, traveling throughout the country at diving meets. She loved dogs and was a proprietor and owner of a successful, Livermore dog grooming business over 10 years. After retiring they moved to Hot Springs Village, Ark. in 1996. She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church (LCMS) at 1196 De Soto Blvd. where a memorial service will be conducted January 27, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. visitation at 9:30 a.m. She will be missed by her many friends, her dearest was Albert Beyer who was with her to the end. Her death was caused by a severe stoke on October 15, 2013 while playing bridge.
