A.J. "John" Kordsmeier

A.J. "John" Kordsmeier, 74, of Hampton died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Ouachita Nursing and Rehab in Camden, Arkansas. He was born October 28, 1939 in Morrilton, Arkansas. He was a retired purchasing agent for Highland Industrial Park in East Camden and he was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Fordyce. He is preceded in death by his parents, A. J. Kordsmeier Sr., Ruby Scott Kordsmeier; one sister, Virginia Knight. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Kordsmeier of Hampton; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Rhonda Kordsmeier of Camden; one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Blake Wilkes of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, Adam, Caitlin, Jonathan, Rachel, and Rebekah. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2014 at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
