Billy Carl Elliott, Sr., 70, of Redfield, Arkansas passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Born November 2, 1943, in Yellville, Arkansas, he was a son of the late Harrison and Alvie Armstrong Elliott. He was reared and received his early education in Gould, Arkansas. Mr. Elliott served in the United States Air Force. He worked for Hoover Treated Wood for many years until retiring in 2009. Mr. Elliott married Linda Jean Williams on May 3, 1962. Together they had two children and shared many years of life, love and memories until her death in 2010. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Carter Hunting Club. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Linda Elliott; and a brother, Roscoe Elliott. Survivors include his son, Billy "Skip" Elliott, Jr. and wife, Melinda, of Redfield, his daughter Dalinda Lea Elliott, of Redfield; and his three grandchildren, Jonathan Foster, Mary Kate Partridge and Emerson Partridge; along with many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday July 3, 2014, at Watson Chapel Baptist Church with Reverend Todd Howard officiating by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:30-8 p.m. at Robinson's. Friends may sign the online register at www.ralphrobinsonandson.com.
