Edward Eugene Hood, 74, of Austin, Arkansas died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at White County Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born January 23, 1940 in Moro, Arkansas. Survivors include his wife, Linda (Sullivan) Hood, one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Cole of Beebe, one granddaughter, Taylor Marie Lynn Cole of Beebe, two sisters, Diane Holmes of Brinkley, Louise Brown of Beebe. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Charles Hood, Jerry Hood, and Robert Hood. Visitation is Saturday, July 5, 2014, 5-7 p.m. Funeral services are Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at Living Water Full Gospel Church in Des Arc with burial in Cotton Plant Cemetery by Garth Funeral Home. Bro. Mike Crider officiating. Pallbearers are Travis Billingsley, Aaron Johnson, Matthew Robinson, Colton Heavener, Garrett Eads, Harrlind Swift. Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Billingsley, Leon Johnson, Jude Henley, Norris Wayne Guynes, Fred Shumaker, Dan Koehler, and Marty Martin.
