Paulette Mathews Flowers

Paulette Mathews Flowers, 75, of Wynne, Ark., passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 at UAMS in Little Rock, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Mathews and Thelsie Wilson Mathews; son, Larry Flowers in 1985; husband, Billy Flowers Sr. in 1996; and sister, Kay Herron. Mrs. Flowers was born, Sept. 27, 1938 in Brinkley, Ark. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Fair Oaks Baptist Church and worked for the Parkin Public School System. Survivors are her sons, Billy "Bo" Flowers Jr. of Wynne, Justin Flowers of Wynne; daughter, Karen Flowers Smith and husband Mark of Sherwood; sisters, Susie Prater of Sherwood and Laura Ann Moody of Sheridan; and grandchildren, Jana Lloyd and husband Jeremy and Jacie Flowers. Visitation will be Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at Kernodle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, July 7, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Kernodle Funeral Home with burial in Ellis Chapel Cemetery.
