Camille Frances Prestianni Wardlaw, 93, formerly of Altheimer, died Saturday, July 5, 2014. She was born to Joseph and Rose Maranto Prestianni on September 18, 1920 in Port Gibson, Mississippi. Camille married Herbert Wardlaw on December 29, 1940 in her hometown of Anguilla, Mississippi. With her husband, they operated Wardlaw Cleaners for over 40 years in Altheimer. She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pine Bluff where she enjoyed serving at the Annual Spaghetti Supper. Camille was an avid sports fan, who loved cheering for Ole Miss and Mississippi State. In addition to her parents and husband, Camille was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph, Jr., Anthony, Tommie, Vince, and Louis Prestianni; and sister, Rosalie Wardlaw. Survivors include her daughter, Delores Durley (Joseph) of Fayetteville; granddaughters, Sherry Dyer (Ben) of Springdale and Allison Durley of Fayetteville; great-grandson, Banks Dyer of Springdale; and sister, Tresia DiGiacomo of Peckskill, New York. A Rosary will be 5 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors in Pine Bluff. Visitation will follow until 7 p.m. at Robinson's. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 10th at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Frank DuPreez officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.
