Erma Rae Harvey

Erma Rae Harvey, age 87, of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. She was born April 15, 1927 in Slaton, Texas to the late Oary and Violet Bridges Hunt. On September 22, 1945 she married Joe Harvey. He preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Oleta Leland and a brother, Ralph Hunt. Mrs. Harvey was a member of Roberson Baptist Church in Furlow. She is survived by her son, Lloyd Harvey of Jacksonville; daughter, Joann (Frank) McCoy of Lonoke; sister, Shirley Baxter of Jacksonville; brother, Richard Hunt of Madison, Wisconsin; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter, daughter-in-law, Kathy Perry of Jacksonville. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Chapel with Larry Childers officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery near Furlow.
