Cleda (Godsey) Pack

CLEDA (GODSEY) PACK, age 89, of Little Rock, passed away quietly on July 3, 2014 at the Baptist Hospital System. Cleda was born on March 22, 1925 in England, Ark. to the late Theodore A. ("Ted") Godsey and Sarah Elder Godsey. She married her beloved husband of 59 years, and she and Ray became members of Calvary Baptist Church in 1956 and devoted much of their time and energy to church activities. She was preceded in death by her parents; a beloved husband, Charles Raymond ("Ray") Pack; and a sister, Gwen Cossey of Hot Springs. She is survived by a son, Dennis C. Cossey of Little Rock; and a grandson, James Blake Cossey, also of Little Rock. Always of good humor, Cleda lived long and fruitful life, enjoying family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Mulberry Cemetary in England, Ark. Arrangements are underway for a celebration of her life to be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Little Rock. Memorials can be made in Cleda's name to Calvary Baptist Church, the American Cancer Society or an organization of choice. She always put the needs of others before her own.
