Anita Embrey Ragsdale Addington, 81, of Little Rock went to join her Heavenly Father surrounded by her loving family July 13, 2014. She was born November 19, 1932 in Seymour, MO to the late Charles and Opal Embrey. Anita spent her working years as Assistant to the Superintendent at Arkansas School for the Deaf. She dearly loved the Lord with all her heart and enjoyed attending The Church at Rock Creek. Preceding her in death were her first husband, John W. Ragsdale, and her parents. She loved her precious family and leaves them to cherish her memories: husband, Bill Addington; son, Randy Ragsdale (Diana); step-son, Robert Addington; step-daughter, Beverly Arterburn; grandchildren: Rachel Ragsdale Racop (Ryan), William Ragsdale, Sean Colee Addington (Corey), Catlin Addington Kellerman (Barry), Christina White, and Jenny Cox; twin sister, Annice Embrey Scott; brothers, Jack D. Embrey (Lou) and Bill M. Embrey (LuVerne); six great-grandchildren; and other family, friends, nieces, and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211, (501) 224-8300. Pastor Greg Kirksey will officiate. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. The family will receive friends from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
