John Blaylock Sr.

John L. Blaylock Sr., 62 of North Little Rock, died Saturday, July 12, 2014. Graveside Services will be at Spring Valley Cemetery in Ferndale, Wednesday, July 16 at 10 a.m. He is survived by a son, Sgt. 1st Class John L. Blaylock, Jr., daughter–in-law, Katrina, and three grandchildren, Joseph, Justice and Emily of Emerling, Alabama. He is also survived by sisters, Bonnie (Jim) Davis and Linda (Vern) Lester of North Little Rock and brother, James Blaylock of Dardanelle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Pauline Blaylock. He was retired from the Little Rock School District as Director of Maintenance and he was of the Baptist faith.
