Jamie Kay Brown, 31, of Little Rock, was received into the loving arms of Jesus on July 13, 2014 at UAMS. She was born April 17, 1983 in Little Rock, Ark. on her mother's birthday to Charlie and Linda Brown. Jamie was a graduate of McClellan High School in 2003 and attended the United Cerebral Palsy workshop for 13 years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for 20 years and attended Geyer Springs First Baptist Church and Lifeline Baptist Church. She was loved making crafts and with her family entered the Arkansas State Fair for 10 years winning many ribbons each year. She is survived by her mother Linda Brown of Little Rock, Ark., her sister, April Brown of Little Rock, Ark., grandfather, James Counts, step-grandmother, Edith Counts of Hot Springs, Ark.; an uncle, Ray Counts of Alabama and other aunts, uncles and cousins on her father's side. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Counts and grandmother, Nancy Counts. Visitation will be on July 17, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, Ark. with a celebration of her life following at 1 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth.
