LaWana McIlvoy Vick

LaWana McIlvoy Vick, 75, of Little Rock, Arkansas died July 12, 2014 in Little Rock, Ark. She was born in Kelso, Arkansas on October 6, 1938 to the late William Alonzo and Mary Belle Simpson McIlvoy. LaWana worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 31 years. She formerly lived in Pine Bluff, Arkansas before moving to Little Rock last year. LaWana loved animals and loved to walk. She was a charitable and giving person. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Lester McIlvoy, Varnell McIlvoy, and Lonnie McIlvoy; sister, Eunice McIlvoy Thurman. Survivors include her son, Robert Jessie Vick Jr. of Little Rock, Ark.; five nieces and one nephew. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2014 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, Ark. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2014 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel in McGehee, Ark. with Rev. Ben White officiating.
