Jane Beavers

Jane Beavers, 74, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, July 15. She was born on April 3, 1940 in Kansas City, MO to the late Herbert and Cordelia Lewis. Jane was a wonderful mother who raised her children on her own. She was a hard worker, spending over 30 years working for Remington. She believed in the Lord and in her last days was ready to go meet him. She is survived by her three children, Buddy Heck and wife Karen of Mt. Vernon, Brenda Heck of Cabot, and Shelly Wilson of Mt. Vernon; seven grandchildren, Joe Heck and wife Amy, Brad Heck and wife Nikki, Richard Wexler, Megan Gilbreth and husband John, Michael Wilson, Christy Raney and husband Chris, and Mandy Dunn and husband Joseph; and 11 great-grandchildren, Caden Heck, Carter Heck, Brandon Heck, Khloe Rowlett, Kylie Gilbreth, Averie Jensen, Corbin Raney, Eden Raney, Dylan Dunn, Drake Dunn, and Theresa Dunn. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
