Sylvester "Billy" White Jr.

Sylvester "Billy" White Jr., age 71, of Searcy, died Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Searcy. He was born October 28, 1942 in Bald Knob, Arkansas to Sylvester White and Della Mae Edwards White. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sandra White of Searcy; one daughter, Tamara Carpenter and husband Michael of Atlanta, Georgia; one son, Byron White of Searcy; three grandchildren, Brennen Johnson of Little Rock, Michael Carpenter, III of Atlanta, Emerson Carpenter of Atlanta. Visitation will be Friday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Bald Knob with interment to follow at Union Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob.
