EARL HUTCHINS, 78 of Little Rock went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 22, 2014. He was a Navy Veteran and served on the USS. Shangri-LA CVA-38.Earl had a great passion for his country and freedom. Earl loved the Lord, his family, friends and church. Earl never met a stranger and we all will miss his laugh and zest for life. Earl worked at Triplex Rubber and Gasket from 1958 to his retirement in 1998. He relocated his family to Little Rock in 1972 after he was assigned to open and manage a new Little Rock branch. Earl was preceded in death by his twin brother, Merle; older brother, Mack; and parents, Mae and Oscar. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lazelle; two sons, Mel (wife Jill) and Nathan; one sister, Betty Callin; granddaughter, Hannah; and two grandsons, Ethan and Lawson. A visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Ruebel Funeral Home. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock with a memorial service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church.
