THOMAS NAUGHER, age 77, of Little Rock passed away, Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at the Madison Nursing and Rehab Center after a lengthy illness. He was born July 19, 1937 in El Dorado, Ark. to the late Henry T. Naugher, Sr. and Elsie Swilley Naugher Shivers. He was a retired Southeast Arkansas District Circulation Manager with the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, a member of the Army National Guard and was of the Baptist faith. Thomas was well liked by all he came in contact with. He was a very kind and loving person always going out of his way to help anyone in need. He was an avid golfer as he enjoyed going on golfing trips with his friends. Thomas was deeply loved by his family and will be truly missed. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Caralene Buford. He is survived by his son, John Naugher of Romance, Ark.; two brothers, Henry Naugher Jr. and wife Linda of North Little Rock and Douglas Shivers and wife Suzanne of Little Rock; two grandsons, Hunter and Houston Naugher both of Little Rock; a brother-in-law, Roger "Casper" Buford of Junction City; a wonderful niece, Debra Cossey and husband Lyn that he spent quality time with; a special friend, Carol Grant of White Hall, who helped Thomas in so many ways and was a such a blessing to the family. He leaves several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2014 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Mt.
