Becky Rhea

Maria Rebecca (Becky) Rhea, 71, of Benton, went to be with her Lord Jesus July 27, 2014. Becky was born February 6, 1943 to the late Alvino Landeros and Felicitas Sandoval of Tepic Nayarit, Mexico. She was a recently retired employee of Arkansas Electric Cooperatives where she worked for 30 years. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Telisa Ann Sikes and two sisters, Angelina Landeros and Rosario Landeros. She is survived by her loving son, Lance Rhea and wife Deanna of Arkadelphia; two brothers, Vicente Landeros of Tequila, Mexico and Alberto Landeros of Mesa, Arizona; two sisters, Candy Landeros of Redondo Valley, California and Felis Garcia of Benton; five grandchildren, Makayla and Makenzie Rhea of Arkadelphia, Samantha Jackson, Crystle Seahorn and Kenneth Sikes all of Gilmer, Texas and eight great-grandchildren. A special thanks goes out to her loving neighbors, friends, family and the nurses and caregivers at Courtyard Gardens that helped her long battle with cancer. Everyone's care and compassion for her has been truly appreciated. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 29 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 30 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Rev. Rick Mays will be officiating.
