Wilma Viola Smith

Wilma Viola Smith, 92, of Hot Springs, went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2014. She was born in Kalona, Iowa to William and Lydia Mae Schrock. Wilma worked as a secretary for the automobile industry in Detroit, Mich. She and her husband, Gordon, moved to Arkansas after retirement.They enjoyed clogging and golfing. Wilma is predeceased by her parents; husband, Gordon Smith; sisters, Mabel Pappe, Mary Bender, Alta Wesinger, Nona Davis and Luella Davis; brothers, Bill Schrock and Martin Schrock. Loving survivors include her sister, Ruby Relyea, of Almyra. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Wilma chose to be cremated and her final resting place will be in the columbarium next to her beloved husband, Gordon, at the Kirk in the Pines Presbyterian Church, Hot Springs Village.
