Anja Renee Dial

Anja Dial, age 45, of Lono passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014. She was born Jan. 8, 1969, in Kitzingen, Germany and was adopted on April 1, 1970 to be the daughter of Orland and Barbara McGriff Dial. Anja was a 1987 graduate of Malvern High School. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from UALR and Graphics Design from HSU. Anja had worked at Sentinel Record in Graphic Designs and the Little Rock Airport in Homeland Security. She was currently employed with the Veterans Administration at Fort Roots as a Systems Analyst. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lester and Clarence McGriff and Frank and Ollie Dial; and uncle, David McGriff. Survivors include parents, Orland and Barbara Dial of Lono; sister, De'Anna Webb (Stacey) of Hot Springs; brother, Thomas Ellmaeur of Kitzingen, Germany; aunts and uncles, Judy and Carrell Buck of Lono and Phillip and Jackie McGriff of Lono; nieces, Faith Webb and Hope Webb; and numerous cousins and special friends. A Celebration of Life and a time of remembrance for Anja will be Tuesday, June 10, from 6:30-7 p.m. with a service to follow. Arrangements are by Regency Funeral Home.
