Bill Carroll

Bill Carroll, age 62, of Bismarck, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 5, 2014. He was born Feb. 16, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Oval Luther Carroll and Lillie Sue Carroll. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran and Church of Christ in his faith. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, dancing and was an avid gamer. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory and love will carry on in each of their hearts forever. He is survived by his wife, Naomi Carroll of Bismarck; his son, Larry Carroll of Amity; his daughter, Dalana Pittman of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Tristan Creasy and Stacy Shirley, both of Hot Springs and Chelsea Pittman of Little Rock; one great-grandson, Matthew Creasy of Hot Springs; one sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Dewey Nutt of Amity; several nieces and nephews; and a host of wonderful friends. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., at Jones Cemetery, Amity, with Bro. John McAnally officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
