M. L. "Buck" Summers

M.L. "Buck" Summers, 89, of Fort Smith, passed away Sunday in Fort Smith. He was born May 27, 1925 in Summers, Ark. to the late William and Flossie May (Angell) Summers. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, June 12, 2014, at St. Paul United Methodist Church with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Flora, two daughters, Brenda J. Smith of Greenwood, Ark. and Karen "Sam" Clark-Briscoe and husband Rick of Springdale and one granddaughter, Mary Katherine Smith of Lawrence, Kan. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home. Memorial may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 4100 Grand Ave., Fort Smith, Ark. 72904.
