Melba Lou Grayson

Melba Lou Grayson, age 86 of Star City, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Lincoln Heights Healthcare in Star City. She was born in Felsenthal, AR on October 1, 1927 to the late Miron Job and Mary E. Ballard. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Melba Lou is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jack Taylor Grayson, Sr.; three sons, Richard Darien Grayson, Jack Taylor Grayson, Jr. and Remmel Miron Grayson; one brother, Ralph Ballard and one great grandson. Melba Lou is survived by a son, Larry Joe Grayson of Star City and a daughter, Tamie (Raymond) Moore of Prescott; 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Eugene Miller and Bro. John Marlar officiating. Visitation is 12-2 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial at Best Cemetery. Pallbearers are James West, Ray Wynn, Lance Gasaway, Russell Altom, Johnny McGraw, Jackie Ronald Harvey, Elbert Owen and John Howell. Honorary Pallbearer is Keith Griffin.
