Logan Brianna Roper, 16, of Garner, Arkansas, received her wings on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. She was born on July 26, 1997 to the joy of her loving mother, Tanya Roper, and very proud older sister, Alexis Looney. Logan was blessed with a devoted and loving aunt, Annie Roper, who helped to raise her. She was fortunate at a young age to meet the person who would become her "Dad," Daniel Magee, who loved her as his own and helped to provide her with a loving home for many years. Her nurturing heart and love for young children became evident when her sister, Brooklynn Magee, and brother, Daniel Magee, were born. Logan adored and helped to care for her younger siblings, as well as, her special little cousin, Austin Schroeder, who lovingly referred to her as his "Lo Lo." She was blessed with the love of her grandparents, Robert "PawPaw" Roper (April White) of McRae, Lisa Roper of Texas and Joe and Carol (Deceased) Magee of Carlisle. She was also fortunate to have the love and support of Norman Schroeder, Robby Schroeder and Joe Cotton throughout her life. There were many other very special people who helped to love and care for Logan throughout her short journey here on earth and her family will forever be grateful to them. Logan was a sweet spirit with a tender heart and an effortless beauty that her own insecurities kept her from realizing. She perfected the art of taking "selfies" before it was even trendy. She enjoyed babysitting, but even more, kids loved to have Logan babysit them because she was so very sweet and fun. She had gotten a job upon turning 16, and was working towards creating a better life for herself. She had hopes and dreams of a wonderful future. Left behind are the many heartbroken family members and friends of sweet Logan who will forever remember her. Allow the rays of sunshine peering through the clouds to comfort and remind you that her beautiful soul will forever be watching over us. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 15, 2014 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe, Arkansas with services being held at the Westbrook Chapel on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 2 p.m. with burial to follow at Meadowbrook. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home. www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
