Alton Roy Holt

ALTON ROY HOLT, age 83, of Mabelvale, Ark., died June 14, 2014. He was born on Sept. 9, 1930 to the late Marshall Holt and Viola Pearson Holt in Centerville, Ark. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Nicole Martin. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eva Lee Holt; two sons, Ed Holt (Karla) of Benton, Paul Holt (Mary) of Bauxite; two daughters, Debby Jones of Benton and Sherry Martin of Maumelle; two brothers, Albert Holt (Carlene) of Hensley, Danny Holt (Shaureen) of Roswell, N.M.; two sisters, Wilma Niedzialek (Eddie) of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Katherine McMurry (Bill) of Little Rock; three grandsons, Jeremy and Jedediah Holt of Benton, Paul Holt Jr. of Mabelvale; three granddaughters, Sarah Payne, Rebecca Holt of Benton, Alvie Holt of Bauxite; and seven great-grandchildren. He retired from the 3M Company where he worked as a supervisor for 38 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a Mason. He enjoyed fishing with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. He was a member of the Lifeline Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark. 72209 (501) 455-5800 with Reverend Jeff Dial officating.
