Astrid Mansour Wolf, 87, of Hot Springs Village, passed away on June 15, 2014. She was born February 5, 1927 to Saleem and Zacia Mansour in Lake Village, one of six girls. Astrid graduated from Fontbonne University in St. Louis and moved to Evansville where she met and married Robert Klaser. They moved to McGehee and opened Klaser's Fine Clothing. They had four children, three of whom survive her. Astrid retired to Hot Springs Village where she met and married John Wolf and spent many happy years. Astrid had a deep and abiding faith in the Catholic Church; she was a golf enthusiast and avid bridge-player. She attained the rank of Life-Master in Bridge, which was a continuing source of happiness to her. It allowed her to meet and appreciate her many loving and supportive friends. She also enjoyed being a part of the Popcorn Social Club in Hot Springs Village. Astrid was from a long line of amazing cooks. One of her greatest passions was cooking and serving for her family. This same passion and talent was passed to all of her children. Astrid was predeceased by her loving husbands, Robert and John and by her daughter, Mary Klaser. She is also predeceased by her sisters, Jewel, Saleema, Patricia and Agnes. Astrid is survived by one sister, Isabelle Mansour of Lake Village. She is survived by her children, Bobby Klaser, Becky Woodward (Davis), Billy Klaser and her grandchildren, Kristi, Billy and Elli Klaser, Joe and Olivia Woodward, three great-grandchildren, her loving Wolf-pack and a host of friends and loved ones. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village, followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church or Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Village.
