Debora Kay Burden

DEBORA KAY BURDEN, 57, of Sherwood died June 16, 2014. Born in Stubenville, Ohio, she was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Roach; grandmother, Ann Swiger; and aunt, Joanne Burkey. Debora is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, David Burden; and her daughters, Lori and Destiny Burden, all of Sherwood. She is also survived by her brother, Troy Roach of Colorado; sister-in-law, Tona Hansen; nieces, Monica Lopez and Jana Hansen; uncle, Bill Burkey; and cousins, B.J. Burkey, Steven Burkey, Kimberle Manis and Jade Swiger, all of California; and special friends, David and Rhea Barker of Sherwood. Debora was employed by the North Little Rock School District for 16 years as the cafeteria manager. A memorial service honoring Debora's life will be held on Monday, June 23 at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock.
