Donald Merony Nuckols

Donald M. Nuckols, 70, of Dumas, Arkansas died June 22, 2014 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born in Dumas on July 8, 1943 to the late Joseph Henry Nuckols and Lois Jean Merony Nuckols. Don was a member of First Baptist Church of Dumas, co-owner and operator of Nuckols Brothers Trucking Company and also a farmer. Don's parent and a brother, Jackie Nuckols preceded him in death. Survivors are his wife, Pam Nuckols of Dumas and three sons, Jay Nuckols of Charleston, South Carolina; George Nuckols of Dumas and Joseph Nuckols of Fayetteville; two daughters, Donna Nuckols Godwin of Fayetteville and Dee Anne Nuckols of Dumas; one brother Bobby Joe Nuckols of Dumas, six grandchildren: Hunter Mays, Aubrey Godwin, Nye Nuckols, Brody Nuckols, Dalton Miles and Sawyer Nuckols. Visitation held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Griffin Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services held on Wednesday, June 25, at 2 p.m., First Baptist Church with Rev. Dubs Byers officiating followed by burial in Tyro Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 145 West Waterman, Dumas, Arkansas 71639. Arrangements are by Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, Arkansas.
