Thomas R. (Tommy) Lauderdale

Thomas R. (Tommy) Lauderdale, of Little Rock passed away on June 22, 2014 at the age of 78. He was preceded in death by his father, EA Lauderdale and his mother Beulah Faye (Ballard) Lauderdale. He is survived by his brother Ed Lauderdale (Norma) of Quitman; his sons Dan Lauderdale (Donna) of Little Rock and Thomas P. Lauderdale (Pansy) of Allen, Texas; his daughter Tollisa Lauderdale of East End; his two grandchildren Hunter and Makena; and a host of extended family and friends. Tommy had a true love for the game of baseball. When attending Central High School in Little Rock he was a member of the Central High Tigers, and went on to play semi-professional ball for two years. He served in the United States Navy as a Gunners Mate for over six years. Tommy later took over the family business, Lauderdale Roofing, from his father; and upon his retirement turned over the company to his son Dan. A graveside service will be held for Tommy at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander on Thursday, June 26th, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society.
