John (Johnny) Edgar Moore

John (Johnny) Edgar Moore of Lonoke, Arkansas passed to his heavenly home on June 15, 2014 at the age of 73, while vacationing in Wyoming. A native of Wooster, Arkansas, he was born on May 2, 1941 to the late William R. Moore (Bill), and Ida Mae Moore (Whitley). He was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cabot, Arkansas. John served in the Navy, and recently retired from Affordable Auto, J and M Wholesale, and JMC Leasing. He loved the Lord, his family, fishing, and camping. He is survived by his two children, Clint W. Miller; Pam Cormier; two nephews, Clark Moore; Chad Moore; niece, Christy Moore-Neugent; grandchildren, Maggie Moore (Woolf); Michael Moore; Lauren Cormier; Bailey Miller; Clint S. Miller; Morgan Cormier; Sicily Miller; great-grandchild, Elizabeth Anne Woolf. Those preceding him in death include his wife, Patricia A. Moore; daughter, Shelia Moore (Vinson); son, John Larry Moore (Little John); son, Shawn Michael Moore; brother, Clark William Moore; mother, Ida Mae Moore (Whitley); father, William R. Moore (Bill). A memorial service will be held in his honor at 10 a.m., Monday, June 30, 2014, with Brother Terry officiating at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 11923 Zion Hill Road, Cabot, Ark. 72023, (501) 988-4989. He lived with courage, tenacity, and vibrancy, and died assured that Jesus would welcome him Home (John 14:2-4).
