Jean Clark Carlson

Jean Clark Carlson, 83, of West Memphis, Ark passed away Feb. 27, 2014 at Broadway Healthcare Center. She was born September 28, 1930 to W.S. and Leona Kelso Clark of Hughes, Ark. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in West Memphis, Ark. One of 10 siblings, Jean spent most of her married life with her family living on a farm in the West Memphis area. She leave her husband of 62 years, William Carlson; two sons, Mike Carlson and wife Candy of Marion; Bill Carlson and wife Jane of West Memphis; and a daughter Jane Bennage and husband Mike also of West Memphis; three grandchildren, Dusty Carlson and wife Laura, Kirby Carlson and Carlson Bennage; and two great grandchildren, Kennedy and Kora Jane Carlson. Also surviving is her brother Johnny Clark and her sister Joan Wright. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in West Memphis, Ark, Steudlein Learning Center, or to the charity of your choice. Visitation will be on Monday, at Roller Citizens Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home. A private family burial will follow.
