ROBERT F. DAVIS, 82, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord Friday, Feb. 28, 2014. He was a member of Cedar Heights Baptist Church and retired from Rock Island Railroad. He found joy in helping widows and anyone in need. He believed in "paying forward" and enjoyed gardening and sharing his vegetables. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Eileen Davis; two children, Beverly (Larry) Shadle and Gary (Allison) Davis; sister, Jayne Meeks; six grandchildren, Ryan McPeak (Shawna), Chad McPeak (Susan), Dr. Rebecca Nolen (Dr. Jeff), Jessica Dodd (Daniel), Dr. Courtney Hicks (Jerrad) and Olivia Davis; and great-grandchildren, Madison McPeak, Jeffery McPeak, Heath McPeak, Grayson Nolen and Aubree Dodd. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius and Genevieve Fulgham Davis; son, Bobby; one brother; and two sisters. Memorials may be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 1022, North Little Rock, Ark. 72115. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday at Cedar Heights Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
