Weda Elease Haney

Weda Elease Haney, 92, of Fordyce died Friday Feb. 28, 2014 at Greenhouse Cottages of Southern Hills. Born Jan. 16, 1922 at Isabell Creek, Ark., she was a daughter of the late Francis Marion Burris and Janie Kinder Burris. She loved being a homemaker, quilting, sewing, traveling with family and her church group. She was a member of Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Ervin Dyal Haney; two sisters, Mildred Johnson, Nona Ruth Duvall. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Juhl Garrison of Fordyce; brother, Robert Burris of Texas; two grandchildren, Tammy Murry (Robbie) of Greenbrier, Jonathan Juhl (Lavonne) of Maumelle; six great-grandchildren, Maggie Barnes (Ethan) of Monticello, Sarah Atkinson (Shane) of Conway, Micah Murry of Greenbrier, Nathan, Lauren, Emily Kate Juhl of Maumelle. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Benton Funeral home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Petty officiating.
