Brenda Hickman Hansell, 68, of Knoxville, passed from this life Wednesday March 5, 2014 at her home. Brenda was born May 12, 1945 in Memphis, Tennessee but was raised and educated in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late John and Ruby Hickman, both of Little Rock. Brenda is survived by her husband, Robert Clark Hansell; three sons, Cecil William Hill, III and his wife Jana of Santa Rosa, California, Mark Anthony Hill and Scott Louis Hill of Springdale, Arkansas; three step-daughters, Anna Hastings of Joplin, Missouri, Lillian Fagan and her husband Mike of Fayetteville, Cheryl Hill Hearnsburger and her husband Graves of Little Rock; two grandchildren Mason and Gracie Hill; and four step-grandchildren, Wesley and Jeffrey Crainshaw and Lilly and Elizabeth Hastings. Brenda is also survived by her two older brothers, John Hickman and his wife Lynn of Cabot, and Richard Hickman and his wife Sandra of Little Rock; two nieces; and one nephew. Brenda worked for the City of North Little Rock in the accounting department before moving to Johnson County where she founded Probation Services, Inc. She continued in probation until her retirement. A memorial service for Brenda will be held Thursday March 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Clarksville First United Methodist Church with Reverend David Hanshaw officiating.
